Image result for Canadian house of Commons member asks if other member had considered prostitution

Arnold Viersen Canadian Conservative MP asked Laurel Collins NDP MP if she has considered Prostitution as a Career when She defended Sex Workers. This exchange occurred in the Canadian House of Commons, Parliament.

Many persons were extremely offended by that suggestion or question or insinuation which is somewhat contrary to the contention that there is nothing wrong with Sex Workers and that Sex Work was not a really bad occupation.

If there is nothing wrong or demeaning or disenfranchising about being a Sex Worker why is it so bad to suggest the occupation to a fellow MP.
